FAQ about our implantology Courses Hands-On Implant Training
Below you will find the most frequently asked questions about our implantology courses:
What is Implantology?
Implantology is a specialized area of dentistry focused on dental implants — artificial structures that are placed into the jawbone to support replacement teeth. This field has become increasingly important as dental implants are considered the most effective and sustainable solution for tooth loss. Unlike traditional dentures, implants provide a permanent solution that can mimic the look and function of natural teeth, significantly enhancing the patient’s quality of life.
The significance of implantology lies in its ability to restore full functionality and aesthetics to patients, improving not just their dental health but also their overall confidence and wellbeing. It requires a detailed understanding of dental surgery, patient care, and biomechanics to successfully integrate artificial implants with natural bone, making it a critical skill set for any advanced dental practice.
